Millport’s Spectacular September Weekend…

Millport is gearing up for its fabulous, annual end of season bash – the SEPTEMBER WEEKEND. Packed with activities, competitions, lights, colour and a fantastic firework diaplay, this year promises to be even better that last year. Here is the list of the main activities around the town:

MEET THE TREE PEOPLE.
Discover the guardians of the trees in the Great Avenue leading up to the Cathedral of the Isles. A woodland exhibition of spooky ceramic tree people created at the Studio Gallery workshops. Saturday and Sunday… during daylight hours. Prize for guessing the number of Dryad heads hidden in the trees. Suitable for all the family. Free.

ISLAND ARTWORK
A new exhibition of portrait artwork at the Studio Gallery. Open 11am until 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
