The Island of Cumbrae plays host to a number of events throughout the year. Some of these are regular yearly events such as the Country & Western Festival and the famous September Weekend celebrations. In addition, many less formal events use the Island as their base and these include 'round the island' cycle days, walking events and others, often in aid of different charities.
